CEO and Managing Director of the Housing and Development Bank (HDB), revealed that the bank has allocated funds to serve the principles of sustainable financing in 2023, amounting to EGP 2.556bn, in the sectors of corporate financing, joint loans, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
Ghanem assumed the position of Chairperson and Managing Director of the Housing and Development Bank in December 2019, to lead the bank within a short period towards achieving a remarkable boom and exceptional growth at all levels of business, by implementing an ambitious strategy through which it seeks to become one of the largest comprehensive commercial banks in the banking market.
He also adopted a unique business model, aimed at enhancing the bank’s banking activities and services to achieve its vision and goals, in line with the requirements of the banking market and the principles of competition, which led to the achievement of strong financial indicators, as the bank recorded net profits after taxes amounting to EGP 2.257bn in 2022, compared to EGP 1.830bn in 2021, with a growth rate of 23.3%.
