His Majesty King Mohammed VI appointed, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, Mr. Lotfi SEKKAT President and CEO of CIH BANK, in accordance with the provisions of article 49 of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Head of Government and at the initiative of the Minister of Economy and Finance. Mr. Lotfi SEKKAT, born in Meknes in 1964, held the position of Deputy General Manager in charge of Finance, Resources and Risks within CIH BANK.
Prior to his appointment at CIH BANK, he had a rich professional career at Crédit du Maroc where he carried out various missions in the General Secretariat of Operations, held the position of Director of IT and Organization and was appointed Central Director of Industrialization.
Mr. Lotfi SEKKAT is an engineer graduated from the National School of Electronics, Computer Science and Radio Communications in Bordeaux.
Furthermore, he is a member of the boards of directors of SOFAC, Maroc Leasing, Umnia Bank, the Center Monétique Interbancaire (CMI), AjarInvest and Maghreb Titrisation. He is also president of the Federation of Banking and Financial Services at the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
