Patricia Obo-Nai is a high-ambition leader with 25 years’ of experience in telecommunications, she represents one of the leading firms in Ghana’s telecom sector.
She was appointed Chief Executive of Vodafone Ghana in April 2019, having served in other company directorship roles, including Technology Director, Director for Fixed Business/Customer Operations, and Acting Director for Consumer Business. Her vision as Technology Director led to Vodafone being ranked number one twice in voice clarity and 3G+ speed during an independent survey on network quality by P3 Research, based in Germany.
The celebrated engineer is also a member of the International Advisory Council of the West Africa STEM Hub organization, a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Youth Academy (GYA), and a member of the Executive Women Network.
Patricia is the Telecom CEO of the Year at the Ghana Information Technology and Telecommunications Awards (GITTA). She has also won several awards including STEM Leadership Award at the Sustainability and Social Impact Awards 2020.
She holds a BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School. She has executive education from Kellogg School of Management, London Business School, and INSEAD in France.
