Alaa Farouk has more than thirty years of solid hands-on banking Sector. He contributed to formulating norms of behavior and cultural changes needed and achieving projected objectives through creating effective operational mechanisms and carrying out banking-related activities
He contributed to the development of NBE’s retail strategy putting ahead of the implementation of the CBE’s initiatives especially in the SMEs sector. Handling SME portfolios and targets through NBE branches, building strong SMEs team first and second line as well as maintaining the quality of the portfolio/ sales strategy
He also contributed to the development and support of the financial inclusion of the National Bank of Egypt to be aligned with the Central Bank of Egypt’s directions and support the national economy in the preparation and provision of banking products that would work to include the largest possible number of citizens under the umbrella of the banking sector, especially the youth and reduce the volume of money traded in the market
