The Magazine
AfricanCEO has positioned itself to be well-established in the publishing industry. Recognised both across Africa and around the world as the Frontline publication for corporate Africa, the magazine’s current circulation rivals that of publications which have been at it more than twice as long. Its award winning articles, exclusive CEO interviews, corporate profiles, special reports on current and emerging issues have all helped placed AfricanCEO in an enviable position among rival publications.
AfricanCEO’s courage to tell the truth and entertain its readers inspires a loyalty and trust among readers that is unequalled in other news publications. They look to AfricanCEO —in print and on the Web—as their pre-eminent corporate news source.
AfricanCEO is published by the Africa Media Corporation based in New York City, USA, and is officially endorsed by the African Business Council and the African CEO Council. No other pan- African publication can be proud of this type of international endorsement and pan-African recognition for publishing high quality news analysis, debates and blogs about African business leadership than AfricanCEO magazine.
Our Mission
The essential purpose of AfricanCEO magazine is to inform, engage, inspire and entertain a diverse readership – including chief executive officers (CEOs), senior corporate executives, senior government officials, political leaders, rising stars, entrepreneurs, students, and scholars – by presenting an intimate, timely and honest perspective of corporate leadership – its executives, its affairs, its challenges, its resources and its strength. In the originality of its conception, in the excellence of its writing and visual presentation and in its commitment to accuracy, healthy discourse and editorial balance, the Magazine endeavours to reflect the values and the quality of the Africa Media Corporation itself. By maintaining the respect and interest of its readers, the Magazine aspires ultimately to inform their opinion of the corporate world and its practitioners and their affairs, and to strengthen their commitment to its mission.
AfricanCEO magazine provides an innovative, effective, and efficient discussion platform for African business leaders and senior corporate executives and policymakers to exchange ideas, deep thoughts, and debate on policy issues concerning Africa’s business climate, socioeconomic growth and human development. As an integral initiative and publication of the Africa Media Corporation, the Magazine publishes high quality news analysis, debates and blogs about the corporate world, but particularly related to corporate Africa
AfricanCEO magazine believes there is an urgent need for Africa’s economic renaissance but the individual and collective views and arguments of the continent’s business and political leaders and corporate sector practitioners must be:
- Serious, thoughtful and attractively written
- Accessible to all
- Open to ideas and submissions from anywhere, part of a global economic competitiveness conversation that is not distorted by parochial national or political or business interests
- Original and creative, able to propose and debate solutions to the real problems that we all face.
