Ogone has had an illustrious career in banking having held executive roles at First National Bank of Botswana, as well as in an ICT entity (Wholesale Telecommunications Services & Infrastructure) at Botswana Fibre Networks. She is currently the CEO of National Development Bank a role she assumed in May 2023.
Her career spans across Risk Management, Credit Risk across Retail, Commercial and Investment Banking, Policy Formulation, Financial Management, Business Development, Sales & Relationship Management, Culture & Transformation, Strategy Development & Execution, Leadership, People Management and Performance Management.
Ogone is a Chartered Accountant and is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Additionally, she possesses a Senior Executive Leadership Certificate from Gordons Institute of Business Science at the University of Pretoria.
