After spending the last decade helping the African diaspora navigate the American financial system, Uzoma witnessed the shortcomings of these institutions firsthand. Despite a strong need for funding, Africa is the most expensive corridor for money remittances.
Meanwhile, money scams from a few bad actors have had widespread repercussions preventing countless Nigerians from accessing and sending money through official channels.
