David Jarvis, currently serving as the divisional executive for strategy and corporate affairs, has been with the IDC since 2013. Jarvis holds the distinction of being the longest-serving member of the executive committee.
Additionally, he serves as a member of the board’s social and ethics committee, reflecting his commitment to ethical business practices.
Having obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Organisational and Labour Studies, Jarvis brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining the IDC, he occupied leadership positions at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, further solidifying his reputation as a capable and experienced professional in the industry.
The IDC has expressed gratitude to Mr. Nchocho for his exemplary leadership during his tenure with the organization.
