Early Life & Education

• Origin: Onasanya family of Ijebu Land, Ogun State.

• Childhood: Grew up in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital.

• Spent 21 years at First Bank, holding diverse portfolios.

• Coordinated the Century 2 Enterprise Transformation Project, a landmark modernization initiative.

• Rose through the ranks to become Group Managing Director & CEO in 2010.

• Retired on 31 December 2015 after steering the bank through a highly competitive financial services landscape.
