Joined in April 2008 as Deputy Chairman, playing a pivotal role in restructuring business divisions under the Central Bank’s reform program.

Appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in August 2013, a position he held until September 2024, guiding NBE through a period of modernization and expansion.

Mr. Okasha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the American University in Cairo, equipping him with both technical and managerial expertise.
